03

Booking & Confirmation

Roshni generally follows the following travel-planning process:

01 Enquiry

You share your travel requirements.

02 Discussion

We understand your dates, group and preferences.

03 Itinerary

A proposed travel plan is prepared.

04 Quotation

Pricing and arrangements are shared.

05 Advance

The applicable advance is received.

06 Confirmation

Booking is confirmed in writing.

07 Travel

The trip proceeds according to the confirmed plan.

A booking is confirmed only once Roshni has communicated confirmation to you in writing and the applicable advance payment has been received.

Verbal discussions, draft itineraries or informal conversations do not by themselves constitute a confirmed booking.

04

Quotations & Pricing

Roshni's travel prices are quotation-based. The price for a particular trip can vary according to the destination, travel dates, number of travellers, vehicle, hotel category, meals, sightseeing, requested customization, supplier rates, taxes and other applicable charges.

The price applicable to your booking is the amount stated in your written quotation, invoice or booking confirmation.

If a starting price is advertised elsewhere on our website or social media, it is indicative only and may depend on travel dates, availability and the conditions stated with that offer.

Prices may change before a booking is confirmed where supplier rates, taxes, fuel costs or government charges change.

AFTER CONFIRMATION A confirmed booking will not normally be repriced unless you request changes to the itinerary, dates or inclusions, or a third-party supplier revises charges because of circumstances beyond reasonable control, such as a government tax change.
05

Payment Terms

Roshni currently accepts payment through:

UPI Bank Transfer Cash Online Net Banking

Card payments are not currently available.

The advance amount, balance amount and payment schedule applicable to your trip will be communicated in your quotation, invoice or booking confirmation.

Payment requirements may vary depending on the package, hotels, transport providers, other suppliers and travel dates.

Where a balance payment is applicable, it should be completed by the date stated in your booking confirmation to help ensure that the confirmed services are not disrupted.

06

10

Meals & Catering

Not every package includes every meal. Please check your quotation and booking confirmation to understand exactly which meals are included.

If you or anyone travelling with you has a dietary requirement, such as vegetarian, Jain or allergy-related requirements, please tell us in advance.

We will try to accommodate reasonable dietary requirements, but availability can depend on the destination and local suppliers and cannot be guaranteed for every stop.

11

Travel Documents & Destination Requirements

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all passengers have the correct and valid identification and travel documents required for their destination.

Depending on the journey, this may include:

  • A valid government-issued photo ID for domestic travel within India.
  • For Nepal travel, appropriate travel documents accepted by the relevant authorities at the time of travel.
  • Any permits or additional documents required for specific destinations or restricted areas.
  • Passenger names and details that correctly match their identification documents.
IMPORTANT Travel and entry requirements can change.

Please verify current requirements with the relevant government authority, embassy, immigration authority or airline before travelling. Roshni cannot be responsible for denied entry, disruption or additional costs resulting from a customer's failure to carry the required valid documents.

12

Cancellation & Refunds

If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, please send your cancellation request through Roshni's official WhatsApp number or email so that the request is recorded and can be acted upon.

Refund eligibility depends on the cancellation and refund rules of the hotels, transport providers, ticketing providers and other third-party suppliers involved in your particular booking.

  • Non-refundable amounts or cancellation charges already incurred by hotels or other suppliers may be deducted from the refund.
  • Subject to those deductions and applicable supplier policies, the remaining eligible amount may be refunded.
  • Specific cancellation conditions for your booking may be communicated in writing at the time of booking or when cancellation is requested.

Refunds, once approved, may be processed through the original payment method or another mutually agreed method, subject to applicable circumstances and processing requirements.

13

Changes, Delays & Service Disruptions

Travel arrangements may need to be adjusted because of weather, traffic, road or border conditions, government restrictions, local conditions, hotel or transport availability, safety concerns or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

  • Where reasonably possible, Roshni will inform you of material changes before or during the trip.
  • If a planned service becomes unavailable, we will try to arrange a reasonably comparable substitute.
  • This section does not remove rights arising from Roshni's own error, negligence or deficiency in service.
14

Force Majeure

Roshni may be unable to provide or may experience delays in providing services because of events beyond reasonable control.

Such events may include natural disasters, severe weather, floods, landslides, political unrest, strikes, government restrictions or orders, border closures, road closures, epidemics, pandemics, terrorism or similar events.

In such circumstances, the itinerary may need to be changed, postponed or cancelled.

Refunds are not automatically denied because an event is outside reasonable control.

Roshni will work with relevant hotels, transport providers and other suppliers to recover amounts that can reasonably be recovered on your behalf. Refund treatment will be based on what is actually recoverable and applicable law.

15

Third-Party Suppliers

Many parts of a trip may be arranged through third-party suppliers, including hotels, transport operators, restaurants, tour guides and ticketing providers.

Roshni takes reasonable care when arranging these services, but the actual service may be provided by the relevant third party and may also be subject to that supplier's own terms and policies.

If a problem occurs with a third-party supplier, Roshni will act reasonably and in good faith to assist the customer and try to resolve the issue.

This does not exclude Roshni's own responsibility for services it provides directly or for its own proven negligence, misrepresentation or deficiency in service where applicable under Indian law.

16

Personal Belongings & Customer Conduct

Customers are responsible for keeping their personal belongings, cash and valuables safe during the trip, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

We expect travellers to behave respectfully towards Roshni's staff, drivers, guides, hotel staff and fellow travellers.

Roshni may refuse continued service to a traveller whose conduct is unsafe, unlawful or seriously disruptive to the rest of the group, without prejudice to the traveller's legal rights.

  • Children travelling and their ages.

  • Mobility limitations or accessibility requirements.
  • Medical conditions relevant to travel.
  • Dietary requirements.
  • Any other special assistance that may be needed.

Roshni will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requirements, but specific facilities depend on supplier availability and should be confirmed before booking.

18

Complaints & Grievances

If you experience an issue before, during or after your trip, please contact Roshni first through our official WhatsApp number or email.

This gives us an opportunity to understand the issue, review the relevant booking and try to resolve it directly.

If a complaint cannot be resolved directly, you retain any remedies available to you under applicable Indian consumer-protection law.

20

Limitation of Liability

Roshni will take reasonable care in planning and arranging travel and in selecting the suppliers with whom it works.

Subject to applicable Indian law, Roshni's liability for a claim relating to a booking is intended to be limited to the amount actually paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

This limitation does not exclude or restrict any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable liability arising from Roshni's own proven negligence or deficiency in service.

Roshni will not be responsible for losses, delays or inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including applicable third-party supplier failures and force majeure events, except to the extent liability arises from Roshni's own negligence.
